Dr. Richard Ting

Dr. Ting is a license practitioner in California since 1991. Dr. Ting received his Doctoral degree from the University of Southern California. He went on to complete his post-graduate certification from New York University. Prior to Dr. Ting specializing in orthodontics, he practiced general and cosmetic dentistry for eight years. He believes this experience has made him a well-rounded orthodontist, as well as a better communicator with other dental professionals.

Dr. Ting comes from a family of orthodontists. His younger brother, a graduate of Harvard University, is presently the chairman of UCLA’s Orthodontic department. In addition, his brother-in-law, a graduate of UCLA, is a successful and reputable orthodontist practicing in Manhattan Beach, California.

Dr. Ting is an active member of the American Dental Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Ting is blessed with a wonderful wife Sandy. In his leisure time, he enjoys dabbling with photography, scuba diving, and traveling.
